Karine, Thierry and Aurélie welcome you to the Épicerie from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 9pm.
Thierry Jeantet, the manager is from Haut-Jura and has been educating his palate since a young age. As an oenology graduate from the Montmorot and Davayé agricultural colleges and a sommellerie graduate from Tain-L’Hermitage, he honed his knowledge at Michelin 3-star restaurants at Raymond Thuillier’s L’Oustau de Beaumanière, with Roger Vergé at the Moulin de Mougins and alongside Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu.
He was very quickly employed as a Head Sommelier at the Barnabet Restaurant in Auxerre, then he worked for Michel Trama at Puymirol, before arriving in Switzerland at the Mirador in Mont-Pèlerin and then finally setting up business with Philippe Chevrier at Domaine de Châteauvieux in 1996.
Over the years, he has built relationships of trust and friendship with the finest French and Swiss winemakers.
